Baha'i House of Worship/Irreverent Me

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us
This is the only Baha'i House of Worship in all of Africa. Five minutes after this picture was taken, the obsessive zealot swooped upon us with his flower onslaught. I wish I had a big scraggly beard for this picture. Actually, I always wish I had a big scraggly beard.

Kasubi Tombs

Another one of yours truly. This is the Kasubi Tombs' main hut, inside four ancient kings are buried. They insisted that I take photographs inside, but it felt very sacriligeous.

Oooh you taste so good!!!

This flattering picture is me with a bit of crocodile and a bit of Nile.

They never had a chance...

Bjorn and I made doughnuts with chocolate sauce. (Ladies, that's right. This man can make doughnuts with toppings from scratch!) Five minutes later this plate was empty.

River?

Bjorn is crossing the fake river, surrounded by papyrus. The river was like a very thick mud, and each step felt like walking on a trampoline. We kept telling ourselves that if cattle could cross it, so could we. We weren't positive that cattle could cross it.

Cool hut

I liked the art on the outside of this hut. After I took this picture, the family came outside and made me take about five more of them standing in front of it, so you can't see the art...

Kate and I modeling in the middle of a banana grove.

Pre-hike Rockin'

We hiked down to that green patch to the left of Bjorn's head. It was a river, somehow.

Aftermath II

That's Kate. For some masochistic reason, she volunteered to clean up all the feathers and blood. Myself, I was simply a camera...simply a lens sent to capture a moment. That's all...

Ah, the finer things in life.

"To eat this head, or not to eat this head..."

Success is ours!

The avian flu is swarming me like the 1978 Vikings O-line.

Creepy Chicken

The headless chicken, rising like an evil puppet, blood gushing from its neck.

Mr. Crazy Beetle Montage

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us
I had some free time, made a little montage (cue South Park song) of the ultra-cricket and my intrepid cat. Anyone know what the bug is, or if it could kill me in my sleep? I have a vested interest in not dying in my sleep.

Mr. Crazy Beetle to the N-th

This is so you get a scale of just how big this cricket-esque monster was. I'm pretty sure I screamed like Homer when I first saw it.

Ahem... "Ballers"

That is one of my star players, Quraishi AKA Q-Biz (he gave himself this nickname...I'll write about this common occurence some time), and Aaron lookin' hard as steel in his basketball hat.

Bovinity

Aaron and I went for a walk, and saw some cows. We rode that big one in the front, then we ate it.

Who Wants A Sausage Mama?

Free Image Hosting at www.ImageShack.us
This is the most amazing menu page ever created. The title is awesome enough, but then read some of the entries. Who wants chaps for lunch? With or without the rear-end section? Also there is an impressive amount of misspelling.

Are You Not Entertained!?

My cat thinks that Russel Crowe overacted in "Gladiator," too. (This is what is playing on the laptop, Andrew)
